A ready to use device. Complete to enter the world of DUC/DDC. Brick2 SDR 50W TRX by EU1SW is a HF transceiver for the shortwave bands from 160 to 6m.

DDC/DUC transceiver with Ethernet interface. The hardware developed by Linoobs. The firmware (gateware) for this transceiver was modified by Sergey EU1SW and published here.

The receivers are designed as direct-sampling SDR receivers. The AD converter has a word width of 14 bits. This results in an excellent MDS value of -130 dBm (at 500 Hz spacing). As a visible result of this high-end digital technology, the user has a spectrum width of up to 384 kHz at his disposal. The frequency range of the receiver extends from 30 kHz to 60 MHz. A low-noise oscillator contributes significantly to the good receiver. A 10 MHz reference clock generator (TCXO) is available for exceptionally high requirements.

Separate 14-bit ADC, 14-bit DAC. Works with Thetis, DeskHPSDR, Console and other control programs, Panorama 48-384 kHz, LNA, BPF, ATT, audio codec. SWR bridge allows to display power and VSWR in the program.

Well suited for transverters, thanks to the integrated TCXO the frequency stabilization is no worse than 0.1 ppm.

An 1 Gbit/s interface is used to communicate with a personal computer and is operated in a local home network. Sound transmission and control works both on the device itself and remotely; no cables need to be laid other than the Ethernet cable; you can throw it in the attic and continue to use it at your workplace. With this transceiver you benefit from all the advantages of direct digital signal processing that are not possible with classic transceivers.
